Vision & Mission

The Vision and Mission for Lincoln County were first adopted July 20, 1994 as part of the 1995-2000 Comprehensive Plan. The Plan was reviewed and revised in August 1997 and again as part of the Phase I Community Mapping Process in 2000.

Vision

To create a community of families* in which children of all cultural and economic backgrounds are protected, educated, supported, and nurtured so that they may achieve their full potential.

* Lincoln Commission on Children & Families defines families as any group of people related by blood, law, common interests or lifestyles that support and nurtures each other.

Mission

To support and advocate for the care, protection, and positive development of all children and families within the Lincoln County community.
