Who is the Commission?

The Lincoln County Commission on Children and Families (LCCCF) is a partnership of citizens and professionals working together to improve the lives of children and families in Lincoln County. By serving as the lead planning and policy advisory group, the purpose of the LCCF is to connect, energize, and mobilize the community to increase and sustain its ability and effectiveness to promote the health and wellness of all Lincoln County's children and their families.

The Commission is to be comprised of a director, staff and a minimum of eight but not more than twenty-one members, each appointed to a 4 year term.

Commission Member Responsibilities

Commission members together determine goals, policies, and directives that address local conditions and state guidelines through the following key functions:


  • Community Planning Efforts
  • Community Building: Awareness, Advocacy, Allocation Resources
  • Monitoring and Evaluation of Outcomes and Initiatives
  • Advising the County Board of Commissioners regarding policies about children and families
